Ways to learn online

A range of live online learning, taught by experienced teachers upon the Qur’ān and Sunnah: our two online schools for children aged 5–16, private one-to-one lessons, and online classes for adults.

Tue & Fri • 5–7pm • £13/week

Live Qur’ān lessons with correct tajwīd. Each student is assessed and starts at the right stage:

  • Read Book: the makhārij (articulation of letters), reading small words and the rules of tajwīd
  • Fluency Book: learning to recite with fluency
  • Hifdh: memorisation of the Qur’ān, our aim

Every Sunday • Ages 5–16 • Workbooks Provided

A structured syllabus for children, with workbooks provided. Topics include:

  • ʿAqīdah: the basics of Islām and correct belief
  • The pillars of Islām
  • Methodology upon the Sunnah
  • Sīrah: the life of the Prophet ﷺ
  • Fiqh: worship and rulings

About Salafi School Online

Alhamdulillāh, we have run our Salafi School at the masjid for over 12 years. We set up the online school so parents everywhere can give their children a strong Islamic education from home, with the same lessons taught live by experienced teachers, following the Qur’ān and Sunnah.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ قُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلْحِجَارَةُ

“O you who believe! Save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones…”

[Qur’ān 66:6]
How students are assessed
Teachers assess students through group discussions, questions and answers, and student workbooks. Classes build further on these topics as children progress.
Homework
Students are set short practice between lessons, using their workbooks and recitation at home, so what they learn in class is revised and remembered. Parents are encouraged to sit with their child and support this, in shā’ Allāh.
