About the Masjid

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all creation.
The Salafi Centre of Manchester (المركز السلفي بمانشستر) has been established as a Masjid since 2003.
From the beginning, our aim has been to call to the Qur’ān (the final revelation from Allah) and the Sunnah (the teachings and example of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ), upon the understanding of the Salaf (the earliest and most virtuous generations of Muslims, including the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ).
The Salafi Centre of Manchester is the public name of Dar ul Hadith, a UK registered charity (Charity number: 1103493).

Our Projects & Initiatives
We are continuously working to improve our facilities and services to better serve our community. Below are some of our current projects and future plans — your support helps bring them to life, by the permission of Allah.
Tarmac Appeal
Alhamdulillāh, recently we completed our Tarmac appeal in which we resurfaced the masjid car park to ensure accessibility, safety and ease of use for all attendees.

Accessible Prayer Space
Alhamdulillāh, we installed a dedicated, accessible cabin to support busy prayers, lessons and activities — it is a much loved space, especially for those with additional needs.

A New Entrance
Alhamdulillāh, we created a new entrance for musalleen to help reduce congestion and improve access during Jumuʿah, Taraweeh and busy salah times.

New Selling Pod
Alhamdulillāh, we recently invested in building an external kitchen and selling pod to better serve visitors during events and busy periods. This has also given us extra storage and a small admin office too.
