Men’s Musalla Renovations – New Carpet Arrives as We Prepare for Fitting

Bismillāh wal-hamdulillāh.

Alhamdulillāh, the new carpet arrived at the Salafi Centre on 19 October, and the rolls are now on site ready for fitting.

    The existing carpet is worn and frayed in several places, with sections patched over time. The photographs show its condition before replacement, alongside the new carpet brought inside and ready for the next stage.

      Fitting the new carpet will bring this final stage of the men’s musalla renovation together, in shā Allāh.

      Alhamdulillāh, the carpet-fitting appeal has reached its target. We thank Allāh, then everyone who donated and helped with the delivery and preparations.

      We look forward to sharing the completed carpet once fitting has taken place, in shā Allāh. Bārak-Allāhu-Fīkum.

      Men’s Musalla Renovations – Tiling, Coving and Lighting Take Shape

      Alhamdulillāh, this week has seen some amazing progress, including:

      • Large-format porcelain tiling in the Musalla
      • Wall preparation and painting
      • New warm spotlights and lighting upgrades
      • Moroccan-style backlit ceiling panels
      • New coving and ceiling works
      • Electrical upgrades and new sockets
      • Power and audio cables being concealed to reduce clutter and trip hazards
