Men’s Musalla Renovations – The New Carpet Goes Down
Bismillāh wal-hamdulillāh.
26 October: the new carpet goes down
Alhamdulillāh, with the new underlay laid across the men’s musallā, the fitters began laying the new carpet on the afternoon of 26 October. The first roll went down over the underlay, and each width was then laid beside the last.
By the evening, the prayer rows were taking shape across the whole room.
Where two widths of carpet meet, they are joined over seaming tape.
We thank Allāh, then everyone who has supported the work. Photographs of the finished musallā will follow here soon, in shā Allāh. Bārak-Allāhu fīkum.
The earlier updates, from the new carpet’s arrival to the old carpet coming up and the new underlay going down, are in the previous post.
