Gift Aid Declaration

Boost your donation by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate. Gift Aid is a UK government scheme that allows charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers. It means your donation can be increased by 25%, at no extra cost to you.

DECLARATION

I want to Gift Aid my donation of [Donation Amount], and any donations I make in the future or have made in the past four years to Dar Ul Hadith (Charity Registration No. 1103493). I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year, it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

You must be a UK taxpayer. You need to have paid enough Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations to all charities in that tax year.

Notify the charity if your circumstances change. Please inform Dar Ul Hadith if you:

  • Want to cancel this declaration.
  • Change your name or home address.
  • No longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains.

Higher-rate taxpayers. If you pay tax at the higher or additional rate, you can claim the difference between the rate you pay and the basic rate on your donation. You must do this through your Self-Assessment tax return or by asking HMRC to adjust your tax code.

Jazāk Allāhu Khayran for your generous support.
