The Reality of the Costs
While we strive to be self-sufficient, these are capital projects that go beyond our daily running costs. May Allah bless all those who donate, with their time, money & efforts.
*May take a few hours to update, BaarakAllāhu Feekum for your donation.

All praise is for Allah, who has allowed us to witness another blessed Ramadhan. We pray that Allah accepts our fasting, our standing in prayer and all our other good deeds in this blessed month.
Here is what your donations will achieve this year, in shā Allāh:
Alhamdulillah, in recent years, by the fadl of Allah and then the generous support of our community, we have focussed our efforts on expanding our footprint— building the new selling shed & selling area for sisters, providing income for the Masjid, paving the car park, for the ease and safety of our attendees, as well as improving prayer spaces & classrooms for children and those with extra needs.
As our community continues to grow (Alhamdulillah), the Masjid building endures heavy usage. This year, our focus is on essential renovations, safety upgrades & the long-term preservation of the Masjid building, in shā Allāh. We must look after the house of Allah to ensure it remains safe, comfortable and financially sustainable for the years to come, and we ask Allāh to aid us in this, and to reward our brothers and sisters who look after the House of Allāh, whether through their volunteering, donations or other efforts.
Removing and raising the drop ceiling to create a more open, airy atmosphere, followed by full replastering.
Installing a 3rd AC Unit (and extending the system) to handle the summer heat.
Concealing pipes with engineered wood boxes and adding new curtains to divide classroom spaces across our multiple schools.
We have identified critical safety works including Fire Safety (installing a new steel lintel and two expanded Fire Doors at the Men’s Friday entrance for easier, safer exit, alongside replacing the Women’s Flat Fire Door) & External Repairs (repair the external wall render damaged by previous leaks (costing £4,000) and repaint the exterior to protect the building structure).
Includes installing new, larger shoe racks to accomodate the growing number of sisters attending the Masjid & children the schools.
Addressing leaks in the Wudhu area, regrouting tiles in upstairs bathrooms, and re-siliconing sinks to prevent mould.
Alhamdulillah, across our schools, clubs & initiatives, we have hundreds of students (& parents) attending the Masjid in various forms, and so we wish to install AC in the classrooms to ensure it remains comfortable in summer & winter months, and other upgrades including rugs, cupboards & further organisation upgrades.
In previous years, we shared our struggles with rising energy tariffs. This year, we plan to install Solar Panels, in shā Allāh — a vital step to reduce our electricity bills, allowing more money to go towards Dawah and education.
To further expand our dawah activities within the local community, as well as internationally via our various initiatives, both locally, on-site, and internationally, online. May Allah allow us to do this.
Every contribution — no matter how small — supports the house of Allah and earns you reward, inshā’Allāh.

New Doors (Exit and Entrance) on Men's Side for Easy Entry and Exit. Men's Front Friday Entrance - Adding a Steel Lintel and 2 New Expanded Fire Doors
The next critical phase of our improvement work is the repair of the external walls and rendering. This essential maintenance is crucial for protecting the Masjid\'s structure from water damage and dampness. This will, in shā Allāh, safeguard the building helping to preserve the House of Allah for the community for many years to come.
Alhamdulillāh, we have begun work on the new rain shelters at the Masjid. This improvement at the current schools (& mens' prayers) entrance will, in shā Allāh make it easier and safer for parents picking up their children. It will also ensure comfort and protection for those attending the Masjid, especially as Winter approaches.
We will be adding lighting underneath and electrics for speakers etc shortly.
Alhamdulillah, our Masjid continues to grow, serving the community through Eid events, Da'wah, youth activities, sports & education.
We urgently need a storage container to safely cater for these events, to store our:
• Eid Equipment (Marquees, Carpets, Speakers, etc.)
• Conference & Da'wah Items (Lighting, Gazebos, Books & Leaflets)
• Youth & Sports Gear (Archery, Football, Martial Arts & Summer Activities)
• Maintenance tools & spare stock for our shop.
💰 Total Cost: £2,800
(including container, delivery, fitting & base)
We have identified and need to address the urgent issue of several leaks in the Masjid roof. Fixing these leaks is a high priority to prevent water from damaging the prayer areas, classrooms and electrical systems.
To improve the security and safety of the Masjid, we will replace the old back door as it has been damaged. This will ensure the building is secure outside of prayer times.
The safety of the hundreds of children attending our schools and clubs is something we wish to enhance, by upgrading existing CCTV systems to add 8 new cameras and upgrade our NVR recording equipment to accomodate. This will, in shā Allāh, provide comprehensive monitoring of the premises and create a safer environment for everyone who benefits from the Masjid.
To better manage access to the Masjid grounds, we are planning to install a new secure lock and controlled access point on the main pedestrian gate. This important improvement will, in shā Allāh, prevent unauthorised entry and ensure the site is secure.
The next phase of our security and safety upgrades will secure the car park entrance with a new access point and safety rails. Alhamdulillāh, last year we undertook the tarmaccing of the Masjid car park, and now we will improve on this further. The new gate will control vehicle access, while the safety rails will create clear, safe walkways for pedestrians, making it safer for families and children.
To improve the safety and use of our prayer space, we plan to relocate the existing wall heaters. This work will, in shā Allāh, ensure heat is distributed more effectively and will free up valuable wall space, allowing for a better and safer layout in the musallā.
As part of the internal improvements, we will be tiling high-contact wall areas. This is essential for improving hygiene and durability. It will, in shā Allāh, make these areas much easier to clean and maintain, ensuring the House of Allah remains pristine.
More details to follow, in shā' Allāh.
To complete the renovation of the prayer hall, we will be making changes to the ceiling. This work is necessary to improve insulation, upgrade the lighting for a brighter environment and enhance the overall appearance of the musallā, in shā Allāh.
Alhamdulillāh, the next stage of the internal works will be the installation of new doors and fixtures. This will give the entire renovation a professional, high-quality finish and improve soundproofing.

One of our biggest recurring costs is electricity & gas bills. By donating, you are reducing the Masjid’s overheads, allowing future funds to go towards education and Da’wah.
