الترغيب في الإنفاق في وجوه الخير كرماً، والترهيب من الإمساك والادخار شحّاً
Chapter 15: Encouragement to spend generously in avenues of good, and warning against withholding and hoarding out of miserliness
Hadith 915: On the authority of Abū Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said:
“Allaah the Most High said:
يا عبادي أَنْفِقْ أُنْفِقْ عليك
“O My servant, spend! And I will spend on you.”
And he ﷺ said:
“The Hand of Allaah is full; it is never diminished by spending [upon his creation]. It pours forth continuously, night and day.
Have you not seen what He has spent since He created the heavens and the earth? Yet it has not decreased what is in His Hand.
His Throne is upon the water, and in His [other] Hand is the Scales — He lowers and He raises [whom He wills].”
