Written by Admin on . Posted in .

Last week, Young Learners Class 5-6 have been learning about picture making .The focus of this lesson was to explain the dangers of making pictures: it’s prohibition in Islam and how it leads to worshipping others besides Allah. The class was then taught the Hadith Narrated from Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “The angels do not enter any house in which there is an image.”

From the Hadith of Abu Al-Hayyaj said that Ali’ (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “… do not leave any picture except that you erase it and no elevated grave except that you level it. The children were then taught that we should erase or scribble out all the pictures of faces, animals or creatures in our homes. They may be drawn in some books, or on bags and boxes. Following this, they memorised one Allah’s name; Al- Khaaliq- The Creator and then went on to answer questions in their booklets and ended their lesson with a fun activity of arts and crafts!.
