Upon Completion of our Weekend Study of Various Hadeeth from Sunan Abi Dawud with Ustadh AbdulHakeem @ibnMitchell

Alhamdulillaah on Monday we completed the 4 day study course going through selected Ahadeeth from Kitaab As Sunnah of Sunan Abi Dawood with our teacher Ustaadh @ibnmitchell.

Throughout the course we covered:
– Various aspects of the Sciences of Hadeeth
– The methodology of Imam Abu Dawood in authoring his Sunan
– What is a book of “Sunan”?
– The meaning of “Sunnah”
– The Hadeeth of the 73 sects
– Prohibition of arguing with the people of desires and the obligation to have hatred for them
– Discussion of the issue of not giving the Salaam to the people of bid’ah
– Prohibition of arguing regarding the Quran
– Numerous benefits related to the salafi manhaj and how it is to be correctly implemented

After thanking Allaah subhaanahu wa ta’aalah, we thank our teacher for what was an extremely beneficial set of lessons and for the time he gave to the attendees after the classes, answering many questions from both brothers and sisters.

We ask Allaah, The Most High, to make it heavy on his scales of good deeds on the Day of Judgement and to give him the best of this life and the next. Aameen.

Men’s Musalla Renovations – Tiling, Coving and Lighting Take Shape

Alhamdulillāh, this week has seen some amazing progress, including:

• Large-format porcelain tiling in the Musalla
• Wall preparation and painting
• New warm spotlights and lighting upgrades
• Moroccan-style backlit ceiling panels
• New coving and ceiling works
• Electrical upgrades and new sockets
• Power and audio cables being concealed to reduce clutter and trip hazards
