Alhamdulillāh, recently we completed our Tarmac appeal in which we resurfaced the masjid car park to ensure accessibility, safety and ease of use for all attendees. This was a significant project, and we thank Allāh first and foremost, and then we are grateful to our community for your support.
Before, our car park presented a few challenges. Uneven surfaces and potholes made it difficult for drivers, which wasn’t suitable for those with mobility issues nor ideal for families with young children.
The smooth new surface means safer and easier access for all attending prayers, lessons or classes – especially more so during busy times such as Jumu’ah & Eid.
The Messenger of Allāh sallallaahu`alaihi wa sallam said in the famous hadith:
“Whoever build a Masjid, then Allaah will build for him it’s like in Jannah.” [Bukhari & Muslim]
We pray that Allāh accepts this effort from everyone who contributed and makes it heavy on your scale of good deeds.
Jazākumullāhu Khayran for your continued support. May Allāh bless you.
Alhamdulillāh, we recently invested in building an external kitchen and selling pod to better serve visitors during events and busy periods. This has also given us extra storage and a small admin office too.
Alhamdulillāh, we are pleased to share an exciting update at the Salafi Centre. We recently invested in building a dedicated external kitchen and selling pod, a wonderful new facility designed to better serve all our visitors during events and busy periods.
We aim for this facility to help support the Masjid & its financial obligations. All proceeds are reinvested directly back into the masjid and da’wah, funding further projects and initiatives, in shā’ Allah.
This new facility also provides us with an extra administration office, Alhamdulillāh.
We pray that Allāh accepts this effort from everyone involved in bringing this project to life and that this new selling pod becomes a source of benefit and convenience for our community for years to come.
View other projects and maintenance initiatives using the link at the top of the page, or donate to the Salafi Centre today! Jazākumullāhu Khayran for your continuous support.
Alhamdulillah we are pleased to announce the completion of this project which has resulted in a new accessible prayer space at the Salafi Centre. Recently, we installed a dedicated, accessible cabin to support busy prayers, lessons and activities. It has become a much loved space, especially for those with additional needs.
Before this cabin, space could sometimes be a challenge, particularly for sisters who require a quieter, more private or specially adapted area during peak times or for specific activities.
This beautiful, thoughtfully designed space offers an accessible space, designed for ease of access and comfort. View our progress pictures below to see how this space came to life!
Jazākumullāhu Khayran for your ongoing support. May Allāh accept this effort from everyone involved and those who contributed, as a Sadaqah Jāriyah (ongoing charity). Āmīn.
Alhamdulillāh, we are pleased to announce our new masjid entrance is open for Jumu’ah prayers! The new entrance project was undertaken to help reduce congestion and significantly improve access during Jumu’ah, Taraweeh, Conferences & other busy occasions.
Alhamdulillāh we have a growing community and the number of worshippers attending the masjid has increased. The previous single entrance could often become very crowded.
The new entrance provides an additional, larger point of entry and exit, allowing for a much better flow of traffic within the masjid building. We hope this practical improvement will bring ease and benefit to everyone attending the Masjid.
We ask Allāh to accept this effort from everyone involved and accept it as a Sadaqah Jāriyah (ongoing charity). Jazākumullāhu Khayran for your ongoing support.
