Chapter 15: Encouragement to spend generously in avenues of good, and warning against withholding and hoarding out of miserliness
Hadith 914: On the authority of Abū Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said:
“There is not a day that the servants enter the morning, except that two angels descend.
One of them says: ‘O Allaah, compensate the one who spends (in charity).’
And the other says: ‘O Allaah, give destruction to the one who withholds (charity).’”
